Andrew J. Dorman
Mr. Dorman's practice focuses on a wide range of civil defense litigation, including professional liability, employment, directors and officers liability, commercial litigation, complex tort litigation, real estate litigation and securities litigation.
Mr. Dorman graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1989, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1994.
Between 1999 and 2009, Mr. Dorman was a partner in another Cleveland law firm, chairing the firm's business litigation practice group. Mr. Dorman has been included in "Ohio Super Lawyers" by Law & Politics Magazine on multiple occasions, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Dorman has tried civil jury trials and arbitrations throughout the State of Ohio and its adjoining states, and has argued before the majority of Ohio's appellate districts.
Mr. Dorman is admitted to practice before the Courts of the States of Ohio and Kentucky, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Eastern District of Kentucky, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Dorman also has handled numerous matters in Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina and Michigan. Mr. Dorman has also represented numerous foreign-based institutional, corporate and individual clients, and domestic litigation including clients based in Europe, Africa, Canada, and Asia.
